Your gear is delivered by a local Quality Provider—a trusted, independent partner who owns and manages their own inventory. They handle delivery, setup (excluding car seats, safety gates, and other baby-proofing items), and pickup.

As early as possible! Cribs and other popular items can book up fast—especially during spring break, summer, and major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Booking early helps ensure you get the gear you need.

No. We require full payment when you book. We are holding your items for you and are not making the items you’ve reserved available to other potential customers.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Google Pay. We also accept BabyQuip Gift Cards.

Our full-size cribs are modern, sturdy, and made from real hardwood (though some Quality Providers may offer metal cribs—feel free to ask if you’d like to confirm). Each crib comes with a firm, high-quality mattress safe for infants and toddlers, plus clean linens including a mattress cover and a fitted sheet.

Log into your BabyQuip account to view or make changes (like adjusting dates, adding/removing items, or updating the delivery address).

Many changes are processed automatically, but some may require approval from your Quality Provider, especially if the request is made within 48 hours of your reservation start time. You’ll receive an email once your changes are confirmed or declined.

For last-minute or urgent updates, we recommend reaching out to your Quality Provider directly.

Modifications that result in a refund follow the cancellation policy.

Our QPs deliver to vacation rentals, hotels, private residences, airports—just about anywhere! We serve thousands of cities across the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

Delivery fees are set by each Quality Provider and depend on factors like distance and location. Each QP sets their own rates based on their service area.

There may be additional fees for same-day delivery, after-hours drop-offs, or holiday deliveries.

You'll see the delivery fee clearly listed before you complete your reservation—no surprises!

Delivery, setup (excluding car seats, safety gates, and other baby-proofing items), and pick up at the completion of a reservation are included. If a QP needs to return for any reason—like you want to add gear after the initial delivery—an additional trip fee will apply.

After you place your order, your Quality Provider (QP) will reach out to confirm the delivery details and make a plan that works for you.

QPs handle delivery, setup (except for car seats, safety gates, or other baby-proofing gear), and pickup. They’ll coordinate directly with you—or the delivery contact you listed in your reservation—to ensure everything runs smoothly.

It's rare, but if something is missing from your order, let your QP know right away. They'll make it right as quickly as possible.

Not necessarily! Contactless delivery, hotel drop-off, host coordination, or other custom arrangements can often be made. Your QP will work with you to find the best solution.

We count every calendar day you have the gear. For example, if you rent from Monday evening to the following Monday morning, that’s 8 days. We do not double book days because we need time to inspect and clean the items to our very high standards. 

Yes. As a general rule, we have a 3 day minimum rental period. However, Quality Providers can decide to offer one day rentals for certain situations, such as party rentals. If you are interested in a 1 or 2 day rental, please reach out to the Quality Provider to see if they can accommodate your request.

Yes! Discounts are automatically applied for longer rentals:

1–8 days: Standard daily rate
9–16 days: 10% off
17–24 days: 20% off
25+ days: 30% off

To help cover the costs of running BabyQuip, including processing fees, customer support, and our Trust and Safety program, we charge a service fee between 6% and 9% . The amount of this service fee is based on the reservation subtotal of rental and delivery charges (before other fees and taxes). The exact amount of the service fee is shown in your Order Summary at checkout. 

Yes! We require that all QPs meticulously clean all of their baby equipment. Babies' immune systems are still developing and we understand that you as parents or grandparents rightfully expect clean, sanitized products.

Items are inspected and cleaned after every pickup and inspected and cleaned again before the next delivery. We recommend that QPs use organic and/or non-toxic cleaners. Inquire with your QP for specific cleaning products used. You can read more about our cleaning and sanitizing standards here.

Yes, in the rare event that someone gets hurt, or their property is damaged during a covered rental, you may be protected with up to $1,000,000 USD in liability insurance. Insurance is an important differentiator between BabyQuip and other baby gear rental companies and is provided on all our rentals.

Contact your Quality Provider! You can also check the product manufacturer’s website for additional information and/or check YouTube for a video from the manufacturer. Instructions are always provided for car seats - either a manual or a link with installation instructions.

In the event that a piece of gear is damaged, lost or stolen during your reservation and the Quality Provider submits a request for Damage Protection (only applicable to reservations taking place in the US), you will be responsible for paying a $25 minor damage charge and we will cover additional accidental damage up to $1000. You are fully responsible for damages below $25 and over $1000. We know sometimes things happen and we want you to know we got you covered.

We expect normal use, but please return items in the condition you received them. Please do not allow any food or beverages in any equipment other than high chairs or booster chairs. Please do not allow smoking near any of the equipment, as fibers and plastics can absorb the odor. Items returned to us beyond the normal use of the time you had the gear including vomit, smoke or heavy staining may result in a $25/item cleaning fee or full replacement if needed. 

At BabyQuip, we offer a family-friendly cancellation policy that balances flexibility for customers with fairness to our Quality Providers.
  - Cancel within 24 hours of booking (and 48+ hours before reservation start time) = Full refund, minus the BabyQuip service fee.
  - Cancel more than 24 hours before start time = Refund for QP delivery fees, surcharges, and prepaid tips. Rental fees refund depends on when you cancel (see below)
  - Orders considered "last minute reservations" (orders created with less than 24 hours until the order start time) are ineligible for a refund.
​To protect our QPs and ensure gear is available for other families, refunds for rental fees depend on when you cancel.
    - Cancel 15+ days before = Full refund (minus BabyQuip service fee)
    - Cancel <15 days = Rental fees are non-refundable
    - Purchased Cancel for Any Reason? You're covered up until delivery.

We recommend adding Cancel For Any Reason to your reservation for extra peace of mind. Reservations with Cancel For Any Reason protection can be canceled up to the start time for a full refund of rental fees.

Cancel For Any Reason (AKA Cancel For Any Reason Trip Assurance) is an optional add-on that offers you the greatest level of flexibility and peace of mind with your baby gear rental reservation. 
If you purchase Cancel For Any Reason, the full amount of your rental and service fees, minus the Cancel For Any Reason fee, will be refunded if you cancel your reservation anytime prior to the start time of your original reservation. Note that Cancel For Any Reason is only available for reservations placed with US-based Quality Providers (including Puerto Rico) and is not available for orders placed 48 hours or less from the start time of the reservation. 
Customers who purchase Cancel For Any Reason are protected when plans change unexpectedly due to illness, weather events, airline cancellations, etc.

Yes.  Log into your BabyQuip account to cancel your reservation. Once you have successfully logged in, open your reservation, and choose 'Cancel your reservation' from the list of options on the right hand side.

No,  items for sale (i.e. diapers, wipes, groceries, etc) are non-cancellable, unless the supplies are to be delivered along with rental equipment, in which case, the rental cancellation policy will apply to the purchases.

No. Due to insurance restrictions, Quality Providers cannot install car seats. 
Each rental includes an instruction manual or link to a video guide. Basic instructions are also typically printed on the car seat itself as a reminder/guide. To ensure that unsafe/damaged car seats are not rented by Quality Providers, we offer a replacement program. We purchase QPs a brand new car seat if they have one that has been involved in a car accident, and the damaged one is discarded or recycled.
